Goggles

Yesterday my friends introduced me into an interesting computer application called "Goggles". I'm unsure if application is the correct term to use to describe it, but that's what I'm going to call it. In the past I'd heard the term Goggles used multiple times on tumblr, but I hadn't the slightest idea what is was or where I could get it.

Yesterday Callie showed me a link to Goggles. Basically all you do is drag the application into your bookmarks bar, and every time that you  visit a website, you can click on Goggles and see what people have drawn on the web page! Most are lewd images, but some are real gems, like this one I found on youtube:

I have a sneaking suspicion that this is supposed to be Perry the Platypus. But this is not the semi-aquatic four legged mammal of action that I once knew. WHO DREW THIS? 

Otherwise I think Goggles is a lot of fun, and you guys should download it and see what people have drawn on my blog ;) 

When Old Posts Come Back to Haunt Me

Remember when I wrote that post about the traumatizing text message I received about probing? It would seem that someone happened upon my blog today when they made an unfortunate google search involving frogs and probing. Something most of you might not be aware of is that I can track my traffic stats, and blogger will tell me what google searches people make that lead to my blog (my personal favorites being: Creepy Gamzee Picture, Funny Pie Charts, and [drum roll please]- Duggars). Today as I hopped online to check my stats, I saw something interesting:

To whoever searched this (and after something sleuthing my guess is you're from Canada), I am extremely sorry that you did not get the results you had intended. My guess is whoever accidentally found their way onto my blog didn't mind it, though, because a new person answered my poll today saying that they loved me. Isn't it great how I try to get confirmation of my worth through my polls? I am just going to assume that whoever did that google search is the one who voted.

If you are the anonymous person who did that google search and are back for more amounts of Infinitely Pi, feel free to comment telling us all here on this humble site of your first experience on my blog. I'd love to hear all about it!!

The Year Is Almost Over

Wow, it's hard to believe, but the school year is almost over! I have about seven more days and then I can kiss that death trap goodbye for almost three whole months! I am so excited, I hardly even have words I can write down to express my emotions. Instead have this image:

Now for a little history lesson: The entire reason I created this blog in the first place was to help me survive school. It helped a little in the beginning, because I had something else to do at school besides cry (the beginning of the year was a pretty rough patch for me). I thought that if I blogged everyday I would become happy. But it's the sort of artificial happiness that comes from, say, marrying Jack Johnson. It's not possible, but thinking about it is nice. Funnily enough, as the months passed by, I was actually starting to enjoy blogging more and more, and Infinitely Pi as it is today started to take shape. Now I love blogging, and I don't know how I got through the first month of school without it. All of you readers who comment and leave nice messages of encouragement and compliments literally make my day. It is so comforting knowing that people out there actually read all this crap I write, and that they actually enjoy it. This all means so much more to me than any of you will probably ever know. And now, with Summer on the horizon, I hope to keep on updating, and hopefully Infinitely Pi will be able to celebrate it's 1 year birthday in September with lots of old friends and hopefully a few new readers.

I've been wanting to write this post for awhile now, and it feels really nice finally being able to get it down and posted. I just want to give all of my readers a big 'ol hug right now. Unfortunately this is the best I can do:

A Failed Adventure in Vlogging

Remember when I blogged briefly about those people my friends and I met on Omegle? Welp, I wrote a song on Saturday about all of the strange and exciting feelings that come along with actually meeting someone cool on the internet.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a good singer, and this is really off key and terrible, but Lizzie really wants me to upload it, so upload it I shall. Also, you guys finally get to hear what I sound like! (For those of you who don't know me in real life). I am curious if it meets your expectations!

Also, the video quality is crap, but I had to use my semi-broken camera for the job, because I don't know if the library is still loaning out cameras this late in the school year...

I just rewatched the video, and HOLY CRAP THERE IS A LOT OF GREEN IN MY ROOM. Green shirt on me, green wall behind me, green bedspread next to me. Just... geez. I need to get control of myself, and green isn't even my favorite color! :o

Note to the people I wrote this about: Is this creepy? I don't know, because quite frankly if someone I hardly knew wrote a song about me, I would be flattered. But then again, I am a questionable individual. 

Another thing! As I mentioned, I wrote this song rather than doing my homework, and guess what?! I recorded it instead of doing homework too! Gosh, you guys should be grateful I am such a dedicated b/vlogger. Yeesh.

Why Did I Write This?

Approximately a month ago I wrote this post, and now it is the only thing in my Drafts folder. I really am curious as to why I wrote this (since I have no memory of my intentions). It made me laugh a little bit when I read it, but that may just be because I like to laugh at my own stupidity sometimes. Who knows.

I am typing in a large font right now. Or should I say write now since that would be a HILARIOUS pun. Okay, maybe not that funny. Now I'm writing with a green highlight! AHAHAHAH

Tomorrow is Easter.Now I am writing in purple. I remember last Easter I made a blog post about geo-caching on my old blog because that's what we did to kill some time. This post doesn't make any sense. Over and out home dogs. 

Should I be concerned? Yeah, I don't know either. Anywho, happy Wednesday! Today's background is for Josalyn (and also a portion of it is for me). 

100th Blog Post Extravaganza!!!

Whoa, guys. How the heck did this happen? Did I really just create my 100th blog post? I've been on my blog for nine whole months now. It seems sort of crazy to think about it like that, geez. I think that this blog post deserves special attention, don't you? That's why I'm going to flood it with links: links to my favorite posts I've written over the nine months. Here We Go Again

I feel like I haven't legitimately posted in quite some time. Tonight I thought I would express via pie chart (YESSSS) why I haven't been stirring up more posts for you all. The internet is the problem here. It's too addicting, and I'm caught under its spell.

Sorry for the sloppy screenshot. I don't really feel like redoing it.

Anywho, this is the reason I haven't been blogging. At all. It's also the reason why I don't have my closing argument prepared for a debate I have to take part in, in Economics tomorrow. I plan on winging it. I'm sure I'll have some delightfully cringe-worthy story to share with you all about it soon enough. 

EDIT: My team and I actually ended up winning the debate. While the experience was cringe-worthy in more than one aspect, I never really got around to posting about it. I'm sure if I tried to now, it'd be really irrelevant.
