A Vlog Sans Music

I have been majorly lazy lately and I've slacked off on making Fun Tunes Tuesday videos. Instead for this week I just recorded a quick vlog before I had to leave for the day. There really isn't much of a point to this video besides me rambling about my how my life's been going for me these past few weeks. Enjoy?

I love how the thumbnail image for the video is me munching on my ukulele. Classy.

I Guess It's Time For a Top 40

I actually considered not even making a Top 40 to go along with the Bottom 40 from yesterday. To maybe create some suspense in all of your lives, or something to that affect. But I can honestly not do that with a clear conscious, because every Bottom 40 needs a Top 40 to go along with it. It's just how it works, and I need to learn to accept that.

Without further ado, here is my Top 40:

I couldn't think of a clever title, so I'm just calling this "Top 40"
1. Sleeping in (this has an automatic spot on all Top 40 lists I ever make).
2. Snuggling
3. Being able to confidently spell the word "Chihuahua"
4. This cover of "Skinny Love"
5. Homestuck updates where my OTP interacts (I considered not putting this on the list but let's get real here people).
6. Popcorn
7. CAPS LOCK
8. Getting letters in the mail (I actually got TWO in the mail today. It was pretty wild).
9. Summer vacation
10. Hats
11. Ingrid Michaelson
12. Books of Adam (The first blog I ever followed)
13. The good 'ol days when I used  Stumbleupon as a means of discovering new things en los interwebz.
14. Singing in the shower
15. All of my lovely friends
16. When my dog sleeps in my bed with me.
17. Burnt toast with blackberry jam
18. Unexpected emails from friends.
19. Back in fifth grade when I used to get scared over chain emails.
20. The weird feeling I get in my stomach when I think back about certain periods of my life. Even if it was a bad time in my life, I get this weird sort of emotion that I have no word for. I may need to write a post about this itself.
21. My guilty pleasure. The weirdest aspect of this is that I am not even a Justin Beiber fan.
22. The color cerulean.
23. Dancing in my kitchen.
24. The fact that Jack Johnson is one hot piece of property and that some people would go so far as to describe him as a "hunksicle".
25. Evening out the playing field.
26. Johnny Bravo
27. Yoga Mats
28. The fact that I used to follow this blog because the woman's baby was a freaking cutie pie. I had a different blog I would have preferred to link to (more cute babies), but I can't remember the URL for the life of me.
29. While I'm on the subject of other people's blogs, why not Hipstercrite?
30. I like the way "photo op" sounds.
31. This restaurant in the city where I live that makes THE BEST tacos.
32. Jolly Ranchers
33. Crayons infused with glitter
34. Actually make that most things infused with glitter
35. Reed diffusers
36. Dr.Pepper
37. Watching synchronized diving during the Summer Olympics.
38. Cocker spaniels.
39. Raising the roof
40. Redecorating my room.

There it is! Forty things for you to feast your eyes upon. It literally took me an hour to come up with all of these, because I kept getting distracted and doing other things. Also the fact that I have a slight headache isn't helping.

Tomorrow there might not be a Fun Tunes Tuesday video up, because I have to go out to lunch with my aunt, cousin, and grandma. I have no idea what time I'm getting home from that, and I foolishly chose to not record a video this past week to upload for tomorrow. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens, no?

Bottom 40 Because I'm a Lazy Butt

Remember when I made that post talking about my goals for posting this summer?

Hah.

Hahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.

None of those things are happening and I know I should be ashamed of myself, but, yeah, I'm not. Sorry.

I figured I should at least update with something this week, so I figured why not whip up a Bottom 40*. At least another post is guaranteed this week, because I'll have to think of a Top 40 as well to go along with this.

*I linked to my Bottom 40 tag but some of those posts aren't actually Bottom 40 lists. They're just things I wrote about that pissed me off.

Hannah's Totally Unnecessary Bottom 40

1. Being sweaty (now that summertime is in full swing I have been reminded of this)
2. That nickelodeon never plays my favorite episodes of Spongebob or The Fairly Odd Parents.
3. The fact that is has been almost a full year and I still haven't gotten around to finishing "The Good Earth".
4. When I'm working on friendship bracelets and the strings get tangled and all I want to do is set it on fire.
5. My ukulele is perpetually out of tune.
6. My favorite socks are starting to get a hole in them (I am sensing a 'legacy' post will be  in our near future)
7. My nail beds are really unpleasant to look at.
8. The fact that it's summer and I haven't hung out with my friends in such a long time.
9. Snow cones
10. Those moments where I make a joke and no one laughs.
11. Being interrupted.
12. The t.v. show "American Dad". I think it's not funny and it's sort of pointless.
13. Realizing I'm sort of a hypocrite for saying American Dad is pointless yet I religiously watch Spongebob
14. The fact that my first OTP was Cosmo<3Anti-Cosmo. That was a dark time in my life.
15. My singing voice. I have many qualms about it, yet I continue on with Fun Tunes Tuesday. I'm conflicted.
16. When my favorite pens run out of ink.
17. When people I don't know ask me to make them a bracelet. I'm sorry, it's not happening.
18. The realization that some day Jeff Kinney will stop writing "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" books.
19. Geometry and all other forms of Math because I hate numbers.
20. Days where I just  am sort of angry from the time I wake up until I go to bed.
21. Accidentally wasting all day on the internet (well, this one sort of depends).
22. Whenever I'm watching my friend's livestreams my computer freezes.
23. The treacherous months I spent trying to remember my Skype login. I was too stubborn to just make a new account.
24. When people try to talk to me when my jam comes on the radio.
25. The fact that Hyperbole and a Half still hasn't updated. I know I shouldn't take it so personally, and that the author has a life, but c'mon.
26. When I'm messaging someone and my computer freaks out and the messages don't send and the person thinks I'm a jerk (this has happened so many times).
27. Life in general sometimes.
28. When my dreams are crushed.
29. The fact that when summer rolls around centipedes invade my basement and I can't walk down there barefoot anymore.
30. The Barefoot Contessa.
31. When someone writes a fanfiction about a pairing I love and the fic is terrible.
32. I can never remember what color puce is.
33. Also I dislike the color mauve.
34. When I was a child I thought that Lindsey Lohan only played one of the twins in "The Parent Trap".
35. Never being able to fully express how much I love something or someone.
36. When my laptop gets so hot it burns my skin.
37. When my blog doesn't get page views for three consecutive days (this is my own fault, really).
38. Days where I eat more than two servings of ice cream.
39. That Project Runways airs on nights I'm busy.
40. Feeling unmotivated to blog.

I'll probably come up with a Top 40 at sometime in the future. Maybe.

National God Tier John Appreciation Week

This past May Josalyn and I created our own holiday. We made this holiday mostly on the basis of because we could, and with the ideal of "why the hell not?". While this holiday was ill-advised in nature and thoroughly unnecessary, we went on ahead with it anyway because there was absolutely no one around to stop us. The ball really got rolling in the third week of May, on a Sunday night. Josalyn and I had been messaging each other with our school-based email known as First Class. (I hate First Class). Our messages had been reduced to us just sending each other pictures of Homestuck fanart that we'd collected over the year and saved to our desktop. Throughout this whole charade Josalyn and I figured out a few things: One, that we both had a lot of fanart saved of John Egbert. And two, that the tech support people who moderated First Class had absolutely no issues with us sending each other fanart of fictional boys getting frisky (The second fact really doesn't relate to the holiday, but I still felt like it would be important to point this out for possible future reference).

That fateful Sunday night Josalyn sent me a picture of the character John all gussied up in his God Tier attire, I retaliated in kind, which set off a chain reaction of us spamming each other's in boxes with pictures of the boy dressed in blue. I believe it was I who first suggested the idea of our holiday (and please correct me if I am wrong, Josalyn), but after some careful planning we had our holiday mapped out. The "rules" went as follows:
  • It would last for the entire third week of May (Sunday through to the following Sunday)
  • We would wear blue on Monday just for kicks.
  • Wearing blue for the rest of the week sounded like a pretty good idea too.
  • Celebratory bracelets would be made and worn
  • We would continue to send each other pictures of John Egbert over First Class
  • We would Appreciate God Tier John on a National level.
These were the basic ideas of our holiday, and we were able to stick to them pretty well. I started to have problems somewhere around Day 3, though, because I ran out of blue shirts to wear. Josalyn, being the supportive friend she is, tried consoling me ("Hannah, blue jeans can count too!!"), but I still felt like I was sort of straying from the plan. Since Josalyn is a pro at celebrating holidays (her family goes all out for Saint Patrick's Day. Such commitment), she was able to do a good job with the festivities all week. It ultimately culminated to her wearing a blue dress to school on Friday, leaving me feeling inadequate and silly in my non-blue outfit. Josalyn looked absolutely fabulous by the way. (Josalyn, I am speaking directly to you now. You should wear that dress more often! You looked so cute I just wanted to scoop you up in my arms and never let you go. Luckily, I have some restraint).

Despite the fact that I had very little blue clothing, that was one of the most fun weeks I'd had all school year. The aforementioned bracelets were made and worn with pride! I asked Josalyn to send me a picture of the bracelet I made her, and I am very glad she complied:

Since the name of our holiday is so long, I chose to abbreviate it to "NGTJAW". That alone was too short, so I added on 2012 for some extra length.

I really hope that Josalyn and I celebrate this holiday of ours next year. It was pretty fulfilling the whole week knowing that we were participating in a festival that we made up ourselves. Not only that, but it was an extremely nice distraction from studying from finals. Despite the fact that we were the only two who participated (our other friends were hesitant to jump on the bandwagon), it was still enjoyable for us. Also, Josalyn made me a bracelet a few weeks ago, that I briefly mentioned in my post about finally seeing The Avengers.  (That post is actually the reason I made this post, if you happen to recall...).

Here is a picture I just took of the bracelet Jos made me. Being the savvy bracelet blogger I am has allowed me to excel in the art of taking unnecessarily artsy photos of bracelets.

I also just realized that if we were to celebrate this again next year I would need to make Josalyn a new bracelet, because the next time May rolls around, it will be the year 2013. As a bracelet maker with at least a shred of integrity still intact, I would not be able to sleep at night knowing I was letting my friend walk around with a bracelet that says '2012' on it when it is no longer 2012. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how this one plays out, no?

P.S.- I'm sorry if I alienated any of my non-Homestuck blog readers with this post (Matt and Lia, if either of you even bothered to read this, I send out my apologies. Hey, at least you both get your names tagged in this post).

I Finally Saw The Avengers

Can I please begin this post by saying that the cast of The Avengers is one attractive group of people? I feel like there is absolutely no beating around the bush here. Those people are sexy.

Now that all of that is cleared out of the way, let me tell you about my experience seeing The Avengers last night. It all began around five 'o clock in the evening, when I was looking at the newspaper as I ate my dinner (a salad, because I'm classy). When I got to the living section, I browsed through the movies that were playing, and The Avengers caught my attention. I've wanted to see it for quite some time now, but whenever my friends went to go see it, I was always busy. Considering it had been playing in theaters for a few weeks already, I knew it was now or never.

I called up my friend Josalyn, who had not seen the movie either. We quickly made plans, and in less than 45 minutes we were at the movie theater buying tickets. It was really hard to contain my excitement. Considering the only things I knew about the movie is what I'd learned from Tumblr, I was interested to see what the movie was really like (I figured it wasn't just one big orgy like I've been led on to believe).

After we bought our snacks (18 bucks in total. It was ridiculous), we went into the theater and got PRIME seats. In the middle row, middle seats. I know that some people think that sitting in the front or back of the theater is the way to go, but quite frankly sitting in the front hurts my eyes and neck. Since the movie has been out for awhile now, and it was a Wednesday night at 7:00, there weren't many people in the theater. That meant that Jos and I could talk and make snarky commentary on the previews as MUCH AS WE GOSH DARN PLEASED.

Of course once the movie started, we quieted down some, but I am the kind of person who talks during movies, and I cannot contain myself on most all occasions. Because of this reason, I rarely go to movies with friends, because not all of my friends like my totally relevant comments on what's happening on screen. A majority of my commentary this time around pertained to the fact that Hawkeye has a smokin' bod. I now understand why my friend Lizzie spammed my email with pictures of him after she first saw the movie. Also, I may or may not have pointed out the fact that Loki has a better head of hair than I do. Another thing that was a main point of interest is the banter between Iron Man and Captain America. They were just so sassy with one another, it made me so happy.

As per usual, once the movie started to get into the rising action, I had to go to the bathroom. This seems to always happen to me, because I always drink waaay too much soda when I'm at the theaters. I was a trooper, though, and I held it (I really should stop challenging myself, but I can't help it). It got really hard to though during the climax of the movie. The stress from all of the action plus the anxiety that I might pee myself created a big stew of stressful emotions. Once the movie ended, we bolted out of the theater and ran to the restrooms.

Overall, I really liked The Avengers. I'm unsure if I'd say it's made my favorite movie list, but it did have some great moments. When I first started writing this post, that what it was going to be all about- my favorite things about the movie. Somehow it ended up me reminiscing about the good time I had with my friend. I really have no regrets.

Side note: Also, Josalyn made me a bracelet!! It is probably the best gift I've gotten from anyone in a long time. People usually don't make me bracelets, and the blue chevron pattern she whipped up for me makes me smile and I get warm fuzzies in my stomach just writing this. Since it's blue, I can also wear it next year for National God Tier John Appreciation Week (our holiday we created this past May. I should really write a post about that...Good times).

Beauty and the Beast

[Insert angry rant about how much some Disney princess movies suck here]

Just kidding, of course. This won't turn into an angry rant (I hope. I can make no promises). This past Saturday night I did something that I swore I would never, ever in a million years do: watch "Beauty and the Beast". I made this pact with myself long ago, in preschool, as a matter of fact. I remember quite clearly that we were having a movie day, and the chosen movie was, you guessed it, "Beauty and the Beast". I think I made it about fifteen minutes into the movie before deciding it wasn't interesting enough, and going off to play with toy horses.

Ever since that fateful day, whenever I bring up the fact that I've never watched "Beauty and the Beast", and that I never plan to do so, I was often met with gasps, looks of disbelief, and on some memorable occasions, people freaking out at me for thinking the movie was boring. I always took the fact that I had never watched the movie in stride. I don't really think it should be made out to be such a big deal. So I didn't see a movie that some people really life. So what? I just think it's silly when people would get mad at me. Really, I never berate people for never seeing "Mulan" my personal favorite as a child (She was just so hardcore. 'Nuff said).

At this point in time you may be wondering "Well, Hannah, I thought you said you never wanted to watch it? Why did you go against yourself like that?" Just hold your horses for a minute. I'm getting there. It all started because my mother (who had never seen the movie either) brought it home from work one night last week. She told me that they were discussing Disney movies at her office a couple days prior, and when one of her coworkers found out neither of us had seen the movie, she lent us her copy to watch. Apparently it is her most favorite movie from her childhood, and she wanted us to watch it.

After a couple of days where the DVD just sat on our kitchen counter, my mom finally popped the question:

"So, ya wanna watch it?"

I answered hesitantly, weighing the pros and cons of watching it. I knew that by actually watching it my pride would take a major blow, and that alone made me want to say "No, mom, as a matter of fact I do not want to watch that movie". But after a minute or two, I begrudgingly said yes. I had absolutely no idea what we were getting into by popping the disc into the DVD player, but I knew that at that point there was no going back. I was going to finally be watching the movie I had avoided for years, and I wasn't quite sure how to feel. It was akin to sitting backwards on a diving board and falling into the pool. You have absolutely no control of the situation once you're tipped backwards off the board, and as you're in midair you know there is nothing more to be done. Okay, perhaps that is stretching it a bit, but hey, this is my blog. I can use all the shitty metaphors I want.

Surprisingly enough, I actually managed to stay awake throughout the whole film (for anyone who hasn't watched a movie with me before, I tend to drift off to sleep about a half hour into most films). I think the main reason I was able to stay lucid is that I was working on some friendship bracelets the whole time we watched the movie. This meant that I actually had to be sitting up, using my hands, keeping my eyes open, etc. Approximately 90 minutes and two bracelets later, I felt like I had conquered something. It wasn't exactly the sort of self satisfied feeling that comes from, say, passing a test you thought you were going to fail. It was more in the sense of "Wow, I just ate an entire box of ice cream by myself. How the hell did I do that?"

All in all, I am still unsure whether or not it was worth it to watch the movie. I don't really feel like I gained anything by watching it after all this time. I realize that the message of the movie is all about inner beauty and loving people even though they aren't handsome- it's what's on the inside that counts, etc. Really, though I feel like the creators of the movie could have done a better job exhibiting this. I don't know if "Beauty and the Beast" was a fairy tale before it was made into a movie, but regardless of this, I think the creators should have switched some things up. First and foremost, I think that the Beast should have spent most of the movie as a human, and then towards the end of the movie he could have told Belle that he had been cursed and was destined to become a beast on the fifth full moon of the year of the cow or something to that affect. If Belle had stood by him after he turned into the Beast (Despite the fact that she had known him as a human first), I think that it would have been a much better way to show how inner beauty is what counts. Think of it this way: it would take a lot more courage to stay with someone after they become horribly disfigured than if you'd met them that way and  then they become "normal". Obviously Belle is going to want to stay with the Beast at the end of the real movie, because he became a hottie! Your average hunk in the countryside of France. Honestly, who wouldn't have stayed with him after he transformed into a human?

My other point I would like to raise is why Belle actually fell in love with the Beast in the first place. The facts are all stacking up to make the Beast one terrible guy. First off, he kidnapped her father, then held her hostage, and if that wasn't enough, he withheld food from her when she refused to eat dinner with him. I don't know much about relationships, but from what I can tell the Beast would be considered an abusive partner by today's standards. I don't care that he "changed his ways" or whatever. If someone did all of that to me, I would not be quite as forgiving.

What do you, dear reader, have to say on this topic? I know that things can get pretty heated whenever Disney movies are brought up, but I'm curious! Like me, did you see no point in watching some of the Disney movies as a child? Or are you one of the many who hold this movie dear to them?

Side note: I had a totally relevant "Beauty and the Beast" gif I wanted to post on here but I cannot find it >:( Please stand by.

Please excuse me while I freak out. I KNOW IT'S HERE SOMEWHERE.

Don't Trash This Post You Hear Me Hannah

I am not including this post in my Fun Tunes Tuesday series because quite frankly it is not fun one bit. I think I wrote this song sometime in the beginning of February of this year, when I was still a relative newbie to the ukulele (which explains the lack of chord variation and poor quality in general). Pretty much November through April of this past school year was a particularly rough patch for me, because I had to deal with the fact that one of my best friends was going to have to move away over the summer. The stress of realizing I would have to live without her really bothered me. I started to get stress induced rashes and I worried even more than usual (which is really saying something, in my opinion). That is why I wrote this song, because I thought that it could help me drain out some of my negative feelings about the situation. At the time I despised the song, rarely playing it, and I even considered throwing it away. After letting it sit in my notebook for a few months, I revisited it last week, and I am glad I didn't throw it away. It is an odd sensation looking back at the state of emotional turmoil I was in then, but it makes me feel proud of myself that I was able to at least express my emotions in a somewhat productive manner. Luckily my friend found out she no longer has to move, so I guess the song is a tad out-dated, but I feel like it acts as a sort of anthem for that period in my life. It was a time of great stress, anxiety, fear, anger, frustration, hatred, and so many other things all balled up into one. Thus this song was born.

Uploaded from Youtube. Maybe the videos will work better this way -.-'

That's it, in all of it's weird and uncomfortable glory. I would also like to point out that I had been listening to a heck of a lot of Ingrid Michaelson before I wrote this song, and I can't help but feel like that influenced this fiasco in some way. I hope that you enjoyed, and please leave your feedback in the comments section below!

Note: When I originally made this post a few days ago I had called the draft "Don't Trash This Post You Hear Me Hannah" because I wanted to make sure I actually posted this song. I decided I like that title, so it stays.

Edit: Josalyn is one smart cookie, and she suggested I post the lyrics to my song:

Even though I know that you can't stay
I still like to picture you by my side.
You already leave me in the summertime,
Now why must you disappear for the winter months too?

I face each day all alone,
like I don't already know
all of the things this cruel world
has in store for me

Yes I know that things are building up.
And yes I know that time will never stop,
but I still want you to know that I care...

Even though I know you've gone away,
and are no longer by my side,
I need to learn to breathe in the summertime,
and fight off the cold and dark in the winter too.

Why Blogging Sucks (The Abridged Edition)

Ever since my induction into the Summer Break lifestyle (staying up late, internet, eating junk food, more internet), about a week or so ago, I've been doing some thinking about this whole blogging thing. Before I get too ahead of myself, let me just say that I've been cheating on Blogspot and spending a lot of time on Tumblr recently. One main thing I've noticed about Tumblr is that on there, one person may have over 5,000 people following their blog. Now, I am not saying that those people do not deserve every single one of those thousands of followers. My guess is that they have a long history on the site, and have worked their booties off. I am genuinely happy for those people. "Good work being awesome!" I often say to my screen, nodding approvingly at the people who have blogs more popular than I could ever dream of mine being (Both my Tumblr blogs and this Blogspot one).

The one thing that starts to bother me is that there are some people who probably get no recognition for what they post. Maybe it's because other people aren't interested in the posts, or the fandom isn't very large, etc. I just can't help but wonder how those people doing the posting feel. They are most likely very proud of their blogs (I am damn well sure I'm proud of mine), but sometimes I worry unnecessarily if other people get so upset about not having followers as I do. I will admit this now, I want more followers. On all of my blogs. It is a hard pill to swallow, but as a blogger you have to be able to accept the fact that not everyone is going to like what you produce. This probably isn't hard to believe, but some days I go back through all my posts, read them, and think "How come nobody likes these posts? They're so freaking hilarious" (These days are extraordinarily outnumbered by the days where I reread old posts and then roll up in a ball and crey 5ever, but that's a whole different story).

I think that this never really occurred to me because in all honesty I never thought about any of this until Tumblr entered my life. I believe a big part of this is that on Tumblr there are more users who actually follow blogs than on Blogspot. I can really only think of three blogspot blogs off the top of my head that have more than a few hundred followers (Hyperbole and a Half, Books of Adam [okay, not really blogspot, but I think he just buys a custom domain], and The Sassy Curmudgeon).

Of course all of this makes me wonder if  my blogs will ever "make it". I suppose we'll never know until the future gets here, but gosh darnit that it such a long time away. I hope for the best with this humble Infinitely Pi, but even I lose the will to try and post, because it all seems pretty futile.

I am done being cynical about blogging now /ends rant

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go check Tumblr.

Popping In To Tie Up A Few Loose Ends...

Hello my fabulous blog readers!! This isn't going to be much of a post- I just wanted to stop in to clear up a few things/share some information.

First on the agenda: Fun Tunes Tuesday
Much to my distress, I have been having issues uploading my Fun Tunes Tuesday videos to Blogger. Whenever I try to I get an error message. I'm not sure why, and I have sent an urgent email to the trouble- shooting people at the Google Corporation. I haven't heard back from them yet, and I doubt I ever will. If any of you know anything about videos and how to upload them, be my guest to share some advice!

Edit 6/21/12: In case any of you were wondering, I never heard back from the Google team. What jerks.

Second on the agenda: The Legend of Korra
I don't think I ever blogged about this, but I started watching the Nickelodeon show "The Legend of Korra". I had watched "Avatar; The Last Airbender" way back when in fourth grade, and when I found out that the creators were making a follow-up series this year, I knew I had to tune in. Most unfortunately for me, though, I was way too busy with school and homework and life in general to watch the episodes when they aired on television. That is why I resorted to watching the episodes online. I am officially caught up on all the episodes now (Woohoo!) I think that Bolin and Korra is actually quite a cute pairing, and I can already see it creating quite a bit of shipping-related stress in my life later on (I apologize in advance for any dramatic blog posts I may write about them. I really don't want to have to relive the whole John and Gamzee fiasco, but if it comes to it, we just might have to).

Third on the agenda: My dog
I have a dog named Izzy, and she is a daschaund dachschund  wiener dog who is thirteen pounds of feisty energy. She is seven years old, approximately, but she still tends to act like a puppy. I sometimes forget this, so I was in for a real shock on Thursday when my dad picked me up from my last day of school and told me he had news about Izzy. I immediately jumped to the conclusion that she was going to die, and started to panic a little. It turned out she wasn't going to die, but she was going to have quite an upset stomach. Apparently earlier that afternoon Izzy had been running around my backyard, doing what most average dogs do (frolicking and whatnot), and then very suddenly she found a baby rabbit. The rabbit was weak and scared and Izzy easily captured it. My dad saw her and started running towards her, trying to get it out of her mouth. To ensure that she could keep the rabbit, Izzy swallowed it whole. My father recounted the gruesome sight he saw as one of the final back legs got pushed into her esophagus. The score in my backyard is currently as follows:

Izzy: 7
Bunnies:0

Izzy turned out to be fine, though she did have a little diarrhea, and refused to eat her dog food that night (I wasn't surprised, after she'd had a meal that big).

That's it, everyone! As per usual none of these topics really deserved a whole post, so I am smooshing them together for convenience's sake. Since I don't really know how to end this post, enjoy this video of me dancing:

Since the previous video I uploaded of myself wouldn't work, let's see if this one will! (Another edit from 6/21...)
Edit: Oh goodness, I left something out!! The poll results are in, everyone! I asked the question "How much do you love the writer of this blog?" And despite the fact that I used 'writer' instead of 'author', you all answered truthfully (I hope). There were 16 votes for "I love her THIIISSS much" and one vote for "I don't like her at all". The other two options (I like her quite a bit & I feel  indifferent) had no votes. Time for a new poll!! :D

Edit 2: Wait, I forgot another thing!! I guess this would be fifth on the agenda, so here we go: WWND
Does anyone else remember when I did the 21 days challenge? The bracelet that I made, the WWND bracelet, had disappeared a couple of weeks ago. Despite never mentioning it to any of my friends, I was secretly freaking out inside. Even though I am not doing to challenge anymore, I still like to wear the bracelet so I can ask myself, What would Nerimon do? Anywho, I was with one of my friends a couple of days ago and we were going to go on a walk, but it was a little chilly outside so I offered her a jacket. I had about four different jackets in my room at the time, and she chose the windbreaker. She stuck her hands in the pockets and PULLED OUT MY BRACELET. I gasped and then promptly began to FREAK THE HECK OUT. I think I may have hugged her. I am so glad I have my WWND bracelet back <3

Iron and Wine According to Hannah

A couple of months ago I was really into the band "Iron and Wine". I really cannot bring myself to listen to it anymore, because of reasons that are hard to explain, but if I had to put it in words I guess you could say I "got sick and tired of the music". This is a brief explanation of what happened:

In the beginning all was well. I listened to "Iron and Wine" on a daily basis, listening to a majority of the songs. Life was good.

After about a week and a half or so, I started to get tired of listening to the same songs over and over. I was starting to get a little anxious whenever an "Iron and Wine" song would come up in my Itunes shuffle.

After about a month I was left confused and upset and I didn't know what to do with myself anymore. The lyrics to the songs didn't make any sense to me, and the mystic singing voice was starting to make me uncomfortable.

Case in point: if you don't want this to happen with you, don't go on an "Iron and Wine" binge. I care about each and every one of you who reads my blog, and I just want to prepare you for the worst. Proceed with caution.

Edit: I got the idea for this blog post in the middle of the night on Wednesday. It seemed a lot funnier at two in the morning.
